The estates
Postwar and modern housing on the flatter ground. Driveways, wide enough roads, room to turn — predictable work and the bulk of the volume on this side.
The hillside
The interesting half. Larger properties climbing away from the road, steep drives, and a handful of approaches that turn tighter at the top than they look from below. Nothing up there is quoted without driving it first, and where a full-size vehicle is not sensible we shuttle — costed in the quote as extra hands.
Great and Little Bookham
Village cores with older, tighter property — narrow frontages, limited standing, and the occasional listed building — surrounded by substantial postwar and modern housing with good access. The two behave nothing alike on a moving day.
The railway line splits the area, and it shapes routing more than people expect: the obvious way between two Bookham addresses on a map is frequently not the way that works.

Larger than the room count across most of this belt, and for the usual reason — garages, lofts, garden stores and, on the hillside properties, outbuildings. All coming, all slow.

04 Do you go out to the Horsleys?
To the edge, yes — East and West Horsley sit just beyond Effingham and we work that fringe. Further west is Guildford's direction and belongs to our county site.
