What helps most
- Both addresses, and what the entrance is like at each — street, driveway, gate or lane
- How the gate opens if there is one, and whether anyone needs to be present
- Roughly how much there is, including the garage, loft, annexe and outbuildings
- Anything old, heavy or fragile — veneer, marble, gilt, mirrors, a piano, framed work
- How much packing you want done, and whether you need storage between completions
- Your date, even if it is still provisional
What happens next
We read it, come back to arrange a survey, and quote in writing afterwards. If the entrance at either end looks difficult we will say so up front rather than discovering it on the day.
